Canadian made, recyclable ground screws
Krinner operates a manufacturing plant in Chatham, Ontario. The ground screws are double, hot dip galvanized and are reusable and recyclable.
Tried and Tested
Our screws have received approvals from the CCMC (Canadian Construction Materials Centre evaluation report 13577-R), the technology is tried and tested. Our installations are certified by a licensed Professional Engineer. We use state of the art monitoring equipment to ensure each screw has achieved the specified installation torque. Torque values for each screw are recorded and logged electronically.
No Excavation Required
Avoid expensive and messy excavation. We typically do not need to do any excavation and all you will be left with is a small pile of dirt around each screw.
Short Install Times
Depending on the ground conditions, we can typically install 40-60 screws a day. Screws for a typical deck are installed within hours. It is not uncommon for the framing crew to start framing the floor as soon as we have the first line of posts up. This is ideal for contractors who want to reduce the amount of time they need to complete a project because of the time it takes for concrete forming and pouring. We enable you to complete more projects.
Ideal for Remote Locations
Are you planning to build a cabin in woods or a shed in a remote location? Are are dreading the concrete work? We offer a quicker, cheaper alternative to concrete for those remote locations.
Installation Is Not Weather Dependant
We can install screws in almost any weather, though we would prefer not be working in a rainstorm or blizzard. With ground screws, your project will not be delayed because it is raining.
Restricted Access? No Problem.
Our machine is only 36" wide and fits through a standard doorway or gate. We are extremely agile and do not need a lot of space to be able to install. We have hand held equipment that can also be used in locations that are completely inacessable by machine. our equipment is configured so that it can be installed on many different carriers, if there's a way to do it, we'll find it.
Minimal Disruption to the Environment
Do you need to erect signage or shelters in environmentally sensistive areas? We can complete installations with minimal disturbance to adjacent plants or animal habitat.
